You know very well how most young females in our age group are with looks. The older the female is, the less she cares about hair.

An answer from a married woman about her bald husband is pretty predictable, it would probably be that she doesn't even care.
I used to think only weight would hold you back but based on what I have read on dating sites there is truth to what you say- that it matters to younger women. Some on one site I am on have said just that: That it mattered when they were younger, but now, for some reason it does not. Still there are plenty of younger women who still do not care so it is not like you don't have a chance, just may have to work harder. Right now I think height is more of a deal breaker than anything and I never would have believed that before I joined these dating sites.

Being a woman (with long curly blonde beautiful hair), this freaked me out immensely and made me sit down and think about how we judge people by their appearance. I do not and appeal to all those out there to also not judge a book by its cover!! Maybe that comes with age and wisdom, but the young have no time for that.
Ohhh! Finally figured out what you are doing here. Wasn't sure what you were here for. Thought maybe you were here to get info for your husband. Welcome, and sorry about your hair loss.

Back to your comment. But I said everything being similar, that would include the connection you had. The only thing different would be that one would have a full head of hair. Most would choose the person, man or woman with hair. Now if you are talking about being in love with someone and he or she losing their hair, then yes, I would agree with you. I wouldn't leave my wife if she lost her hair. She is more to me than a nice head of hair.

People can say the right things to appear less shallow, but the proof is in the pudding. I would challenge anybody to create two profiles on a dating site and post a picture on one with hair and on the other without. You are sure to get more responses on the profile with hair. Just the way it is unfortunately. But as men we are not off the hook either. Many of us can be just as bad, and we need to realize this before trashing the women.

Good points. Women are all over the place when it comes to hair loss. Some don't care if a man has hair loss, others do, while other women find bald men sexy. I met a man recently who was engaged. He wore a very realistic hairpiece and his fiancée did not even know. When the man decided it was time for transparency, she broke off the engagement. He wasn't crushed but rather saw this as a blessing that her superficiality was revealed before they continued on with their relationship.

Yes I have heard of people doing just that and I think that is just human nature at work. As you say, I know I am somewhat guilty about that as well.

But I think if you can get your foot in the door (not sure how) then your chances go up.

I think many things are more important in the eyes of woman than a mans hair. Its just that many of us do not possess those things of importance and so to lose our hair will often appear to be the killer in our chances with many women. Beyond that, we get so caught up and jaded with our hair loss that we don't really develop whats needed to be truly successful in this respect - On a personal level its a crushing thing to deal with.

If you're the complete package otherwise then its not going to be much of an issue unless you're dealing with someone real shallow and the reality is that this shallow woman may never be as happy as she can be by letting such fickle things decide who she is with so its her loss really.

tbh this post I'm typing is rather eye opening to my self and seals the deal that next hair cut its getting buzzed off.

It sucks because I am not the total package. The only thing I have going for me besides my hair, is my size...if you know what I mean.

That's great Notcoolanymore, but what happens if you lose sensation down there, or it shrinks? That stuff really scares me.

That was a joke btw, but you are right. The potential sides are nothing to be messing around with. We have two choices: treat our hair loss or do nothing. Either choice has the potential for disaster. I made my decision to try to save what I have. Hopefully that decision doesn't end up biting me in the a$$ or my D.

Such a cruel twist of fate, save hair or potentially lose your tackle. I'm still on the fence and probably will be until it's not worth taking. I do wish you guys taking it all the luck in the world tho.

I am not ether myself but that doesn't mean you may not have qualities they are seeking. You just never know. I have been alone for a LONG time-part my choice -Part just no luck or interest from women. But my luck may be changing...finally found one that seems to like me as I am. During our first date last weekend she told me I was the first guy to EVER open a car door for her. Also that I did not grab her butt/boots out in public. Well I am no catch but compared to the ones she has dated in the past, I guess I kinda am.

She asked me out for next weekend , so I guess things are going good so far.

Propecia is working so no mention of hairloss though I would not deny it if it ever comes up.

So I guess I am saying you never know when you might meet someone who doesn't care about the things we all worry about...

Sounds like she has dated some classy dudes. Tough act for you to follow. Good luck.

You are right about having the right qualities though. "Total Package" can have a different meaning for many people.

                            Things still going great!

Her town is full of really bad people. Uneducated, don't work and want govt to pay for everything and it really goes down hill from there. It's like something out of a movie, only it's really happening.

Just a basic normal guy, mpb or not would have no problems picking up girls in that town. She's already wanting me to find a guy for her friend.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Most decent dudes with at least something going for them can clean up in those parts of town.
