How much minoxidil is absorbed into the system?

I was just wondering this due to some anecdotal reports of side effects, all of them say minoxidil is absorbed into the system with no mention at all of how much, not even by using vague words like 'some' or 'most'.

Is 0.5-1ml per day of topical 5% minox likely to cause any significant absorption into my system?

This stuff has been around for like 20+ years, what's your reason for the question?

I dont have answers specifically, but generally I have not seen any major side effects from this stuff being experienced by anyone.
