    Propecia Expectations

What does the average person who takes propecia achieve results wise? I just started taking it and don't have sides so I don't want anyone to start talking about sides on this thread...but what should I expect from it? I'm using nizoral 1% twice a week as well..

You can't expect people not to talk about sides, as sides are a reality of this medication. There's no getting around the subject.

That said, realistically, you should expect to maintain. What's your age, &norwood?

I just don't want anyone to talk about them because I already realize them. I am 20 and a norwood 2ish....

You can expect to arrest your hair loss (90 percent of men)

50/50 shot you will regrow a visible amount of hair. This is for propecia alone so niz should augment your results somewhat.

Will is save the hairs that are small and already miniaturized?

I've done a little research and there is a good chance it will save the hairs already miniaturized.... have you noticed an increase shed since starting?

Only some minor shedding so far.

I think partially miniaturized hair is actually what it works best on. You can't expect much if your down to the hardwood

Yeah I'm partially miniaturized...hopefully it revives these little guys for us and holds us a few years until histogen/aderans saves the day!

That's literally the only reason I'm still on fin. It's done nothing for me, visually speaking, so for me it's a matter of floating in the life raft waiting for rescue.

                      It stopped your loss though?

It's still too early to tell its effects on me. I know statistically speaking I'm more likely to succeed and fail, but I don't know yet. (I had very slow MPB before starting fin, which also muddies the water.)

Can we puchase it over the counter? Can we get generics? How much does it cost?
