Enough is enough managing weight gain on finasteride

Has any one worked out how to keep the weight off from the spike of oestrogen when you take finasteride ? Is a aromatase inhibitor the only option ? I mean if you get good results with fin and weight gain is the only issue what are we waiting for ?

I found this on hair loss talk this guy only took 25mg of zinc and dim to counteract propecia sides I have looked into this a lot, and taking an AI simply isn’t a viable long term solution because you will most likely tank your E2 which is not very good for your hair and your body overall.
I managed to counter the increase in my E2 with exercise, zinc and DIM or maybe my body just got used to it. I suggest trying the same for a month and see how it goes for you before even considering AI

I am having a really terrible issue caused by finasteride. I mean, it is doing well in fixing the original issue, however I got so freaking fat because of it! I have consumed it for the last couple of months, and I have gained more than 15 kilograms in this period of time! That is just waaaay too much. I have been trying to calculate the calories and do all that kind of stuff, however it never worked out. I have been using various calculators and unit converters online to understand the amount of food I have to eat.
