Is this a thinning crown?

I am wondering if this is a sign of thinning at the crown where my hair is split? I cannot tell if it is because I am parting it weirdly that it reveals the scalp more than usual, or because it is thinning.

Above the middle part in picture 1, that is my birth mark so there has never been hair there.
