Doc wont prescribe me DUT, any recommendations or help?

Went to the family doctor to get a prescription for Dutasteride, as Finasteride is not effective enough for me, and I do not get sides from it, been on it 2.5 years now(or if I did, it was a bit at the beginning maybe?)

his reasoning was that it was not yet approved for Hairloss yet, I told him that it would be approved within the year and showed him that it was more effective than FIN(clinical data and such) and he still said something about liability problems blah blah, I didnt really get it as many people have been prescribed it off-label!

so one, is anyone willing to send me say 60 pills of Avodart so I can try it out!? or least know a doc or dermatologist in the Mississauga/Toronto, Canada region that will approve me for it!?

    Hey!

I used www.medicalwellnesscenter.com. I don't know if they will ship to Canada, but you can probably find out. Basically you fill out a questionnaire and they send you a legit script. I got my script for Avodart and filled it yesterday. Again, I live in the US, so that may make a difference.

These various pharmacies that sell prescription drugs without prescriptions often don't sell to Canada, and I think it's because of customs issues. If only finasteride and dutasteride weren't prescription drugs because honestly I hate the fact that keeping my hair hangs on the clinical judgment of God knows how many doctors I will need to see over the course of my lifetime to renew my prescription. Then again, if you can get on it and are clearly established with it, a clinician would have to have some very compelling reason to take you off of it. Still, I wish I could just buy it over the counter.

I would just keep trying doctors, I guess.

OP: find a ht doc in your area, many legit ones will do a free consultation and will prescribe fin/dut. Call ahead of time and ask if the doc prescribes dut....boom done
