How accurate are dermatologist at diagnosing male pattern balding?

Went to a derm today since I been worried and was told I was fine. However, A ton of people on reddit seem to think I am balding.

What experience do you guys have?

There not good at it unless you go to one that specializes in hair, which can be hard to find.

I’d give less weight to Reddit. It isn’t a replacement for a consultation with a qualified medical professional who you have seen in person.

Like with other diseases/specialists, it’s always worth getting a second opinion from another qualified medical professional. You should consider seeing a hair transplant surgeon or a trichologist.
