Hi, I’m 20 years old and have never had a problem in terms of my hair or thinking I was bald. However I have noticed that my hair near my crown seems thin and there are gaps in the hair showing the scalp. I have no frontal lobe recession or near the temples. Could this just be a cowlick or is the crown naturally thinner or is it an early sign of balding? I’ve provided two pictures to show what I mean.
Is this a sign of balding?

Absolutely not.
Hair in the crown often grows out in such patterns and yours is incredibly thick and typical of somebody who (just guessing)... is around 16-21. Most people on here would kill for that hair so don't worry.
Best advice would be to leave the forum and enjoy your great hair! -
Just saw you mentioned you were 20 in the post!
To be honest, I only signed up to this forum just now after reading your post title and looking at the pics, I noticed nobody had gotten around to a reply and I wanted to assure you that all is well. Great hair.Comment
