Hi there! What do you think of my crown?

    Hi Guys,

I'm 24 years old, and for some reason recently I've been obsessed with the fact that I might be losing hair.

I don't find hair in my bed/shower and everything looks normal but I'm concerned by my crown area.

Can you please give me your opinion? Also when I touch it with my hand it feels thinner than the rest of the hair, is that normal?

I can't really say if it has always been like this because only recently I started thinking about the fact that I could go bald. (this due to my friends going bald)

    My hairline is fine.

This is clearly under a fairly bright light. But the first pic has less light shining on it and it looks less exposed. Id say you're fine. Keep checking ever 3-6 months. But right now, I can't see any cause for concern.

      Thanks for you response.

The light in my corridor is a bit bright. I don't know what it looks like under natural light.

I will do as you say and check in 3 months!

Can't tell whether that looks a bit suspect or if it's a trick of the light, but it does remind me of where my crown started out about 18 months ago, especially as we have a similar 'hair direction' pattern. Below is a picture of where my crown is now, so if I were you, I'd definitely do as Ohthehair says and monitor it.

          Hello @ninjabin,
In my opinion it is the beginning. Your crown looks a little bit thin, so a close monitoring is best option for now. You may do photos every month for better comparison.

Yes, I would agree that it's probably the very beginning too. Has that look of the lighter area around the crown having spread forward ever so slightly. Oddly, I usually find it better to look at photos of the crown zoomed out (i.e. your thumbnails) as it seems to highlight more clearly if something is a bit off.
