New Minoxidil - Any Thoughts Or Suggestions?

Hi All,

After a consultation yesterday and 12 months of using 5% Rogaine Minoxidil a day I've started to think I need to change up my routine a little.

At my consultation at MHR clinic I was told Rogaine was a poor Minoxidil as the foam absorbs more in the hair than on the scalp. They were asking me to take a 10% minoxidil product with azelaic acid blended in and a higher proportion of alcohol to increase absorption with a pipette style formula.

This started me thinking (and I'd be intrigued for your thoughts)

1. Has anyone had experience using 10% minoxidil and where do you get it?
2. Are they right saying the foam is absorbed more by hair and less my scalp i.e. should is witch to a pipette style?
3. I currently apply once per day but should I be dosing twice? What if I use a Toppik concealer? Do I need to wash this off every time I apply?
4. Any thoughts on the Azelaic acid and higher alcohol?
5. Any recommendations for "good" minoxidil?

Here is a guy who tried most treatments on the market, including Minoxidil-based treatments.
For me, Minoxidil wasn't the best match and I bearly see any improvements after 2-months of daily administration.

I can't advise you in regard to this, however, have you considered following a Redensyl-based treatment?

If not you should consider it. If you want I can give you more guidance including a list of the best Redensyl products that have worked for me.
