This nice fellow had several minigraft cases in the 90s, and what sounds like some sort of scalp reduction...although the history of that is somewhat vague. He presented to have his hairline made more dense and less of a straight line.
These pics and the video illustrate one of the more challenging repair cases I've done. Note how much scar tissue he has in the recipient area, the irregularity of the scalp and the plugginess of his minigrafts. Also, he had 5 non parallel scars in his donor region...its beyond me to figure out the planning or lack thereof in that scar design. We were able to excise 2 scars with decent hair in between, so now he's down to 4 scars...maybe we'll get an opportunity in 18 months to do a little more.
He does not live locally and I'm hopeful to get followup pictures from him in a few months and even more hopeful to actually see him in person in 18 months, when he's at his final result.
