A 46-year-old man came to Dr. Carlos K. Wesley's surgical center in order to return the frontal hair fullness that he once had. A 2343-graft session to the frontal half of his scalp can be viewed before and 12 months later. One important aspect of achieving his results was the use of DFUs (double follicular units) as well as the combined use of PRP and ACell as storage solutions while the grafts were incubating out of the body.

We have attached a few images of the pattern designed by Dr. Wesley. In this case, he used a number of double follicular units (DFUs) that are tucked away from the hairline in order to generate a backdrop of healthy density within the surrounding fine micrografts.

Hi Dr Wesley. Is a micrograft the same as a follicular unit graft? And what is a double follicular unit graft? Does this mean you plant two hair units into on recipient site? Also any more news on your Pilofocus trials?Comment
