Some males do manage to grow back some temple hair with Rogaine but most do not.
If the temple recession is quite uneven (I'm more receded on my left hand side, also have stronger beard growth on this side) is this evidence for a simple maturing hairline, MPB, or entirely inconclusive?

EDIT: Also, is your advice about temple usage implicitly saying that there is no detrimental affect to premature Rogaine use? Wasted money aside?

    Thanks in advance.

No. You are "reading into" what I said. Do not do that. It was not advice. It was purely a statement about the matter - and nothing more.

Bizarre response. I didn't "read into" what you said. I asked if that would be a correct interpretation. Entirely so I avoided making unfounded assumptions. Thanks for the unnecessarily condescending tone though. "Do not do that" next time maybe?

Thanks for patronising me and not answering my questions though.

I was not trying to be condescending or patronizing. You want an answer that no one can honestly give you.

No worries. It is impossible to tell a persons tone from text. No harm done.

Nizoral and Rogaine don't stop hair loss. They promote hair growth. If you're using these two and you have MPB, you're hair will still fall.

Finasteride by itself>Rogaine and Nizoral, to stop hair loss. From experience, I have used Fin by it self for a whole year.

It's called the big 3 if you use together. The big 2 is Finasteride and Rogaine. There's no such thing as the big 2=Rogaine and Nizoral. It's pointless.

Sounds like early signs of MPB.

Do you know if it's possible to get any form of Fin without prescription in the UK?

Also, considering I would rather exhaust all other options before taking Fin, do you not think it is worthwhile to continue with the 'small two' and see if they do any good? Maintaining would be perfectly good at this stage.
