I'm surprised (and pleased) to see that you didn't get the recipient are shaved. We'll soon see if the results are as good )

spex did u develop this "bald area" after ur HT im guessing? So the meds u took after ur initial HTs didn't work for you in maintaining your hair line?

Indeed. i have lost further native hair in the front since my original Ht's and whilst being on the meds.
The meds are only so good however at helping stop further loss in the front as opposed to the mid crown where i have had no further loss.

it looked like a 1cm recession. im trying to gauge where i will be in 6 months or so.. i think i have a similar pattern to u. How long did it take for ur hairline to receede this much after u had the HT? If its over a year it cud well be that the meds slowed down the progression but didnt stop hair loss

How come you didn't have to shave your head? I thought Feller always insisted on shaving the recipient area.

This surgery was with Dr Lindsey, Not Dr Feller. Both recommend shaving down.

The reason we didnt shave down was due to my personal request and given the relatively small area.

In retrospect i wish i had just shaved the area as i experienced pretty meaty shockloss. Dr Lindsey did inform me this would potentially happen.

Shockloss has now nearly all returned after 3.5 months.
