Default MILD dermarolling to promote IGF-1 production?

I was reading the Follicept thread where IGF-1 is discussed. And there is alot of talk about IGF-1 in general nowadays related to hair it seems to me. So then I read this information that Swooping supplied in the Follicept thread:
    http://www.jhgc.com.sg/theory/igf-1/index.html

"Sensory neurons that transmit the pain and heat sensation to the brain perceive the stimulatory information in the gastrointestinal tract and the skin, thereby releasing CGRP (calcitonin gene-related peptide) in the hair follicle. Dermal papilla cells increase IGF-I production by receiving CGRP, and IGF-I thus formed activates keratinocytes to increase its proliferation. Consequently, hair growth is promoted by sensory neuron stimulation in the gastrointestinal tract and scalp. "

So if I understand this correctly PAIN causes the releaas of CGRP and that in turn causes DP cells to increase IGF-1 production.

When the dermarolling thing was going on I DID see results. But after a while the pain of stabbinng my head bloody once a week wasnt worth it for the small gains I made.

But what if we could keep inflicting pain in our scalps with higher frequency? I just took out my dermaroller again and started rolling MILDLY for an extended period of time. Enough to feel pain (and promote IGF-1) but absolutely not stabbing myself senseless like I used to.

For sure it increases blood flow. And that is a good thing.

And there is anecdotal evidence (I read Willem Dafoe alwasy does this) that pulling your hair will make it stay.

Then there is that bald guy that burned his head and grew back his hair. That guy must have been in pain for weeks if not months.

Also torture victims are known to develop thick bodyhair over their wounds.

Maybe the trick to dermarolling isnt stabbing yourself senseless once a week. But instead making it a regular thing. Like toothbrushing.

I can't help to think that stimulating the pain neurons for say 10 minutes every day has to be better than shocking them once a week.

Awesome idea. By the way I already mentioned this, but LLLT seems to be doing wonders lately (theradome). Now I discovered through Dr. Kenji Okajima that blue light irradation stimulates IGF-1! That's right. What about dermarolling + IGF-1 + Blue light irradation? That would be godly. Besides having our hair back, it would also stimulate an anabolic state of the body.

The guy is butthurt that people are on board with the whole follicept thing so he is trolling now and laughing at himself and his marvelous intelligence.

Just reread his comments again. In the middle of follicept thread he "changes" his mind, and then later posts how trx2 works well. Not to mention this post about theradome...
