Default Losing Hair at 19. Advice Wanted for Best Course of Action

Hi sorry I'm sure youre all sick of reading posts from young guys who are uninformed and freaking out but I was wondering what the best thing is for me to do. I started taking propecia 6 months ago and although I dont think its obvious in the photos my hair is significantly worse. I am willing to continue using fin even tho its a large amount of my student loan but at the moment my life is completely ruled by my hairloss. I often dont go to lectures if I dont feel my hair looks alright or if its too windy and my results have started to suffer but i still cant bring my self to leave the house. Even when i do go out I check my mini comb over every 30 seconds and is always in the back of my mind. Also socialising has started to be completely ruled out apart from a few select friends. I was wondering what people thought i should do

My main problem is recession but if i have a slight quiff you can see straight down to my scalp. I already had a massive forehead which might have scewed how bad my hairloss is. Would it be worth trying minoxidil on my hairline? Would it risk a shed every where else and also from what I've seen if people use it and then stop there hairloss is much worse. Is this true?

Also I am considering a hair transplant cos it is really starting to have that much of an effect on me. Next year i have a year in industry so i should get enough money for one. With my genes i am probably going to be completely bald although my mums dad just had a receding hairline from about 20 to 60 (which is what she uses to shut me down whenever i try to talk to her about it but i think ive nearly overtaken him already). Ive read surgeons are reluctant to do surgery on younger men, but why is this?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I know the photos could be better/more consistent but its all ive got. The slightly yellow ones are the pre propecia pics. Also out of curiosity which nw would you consider me?

I would say the best thing you can do is just stick to propecia and wait things out. I know it's tough to be patient, but it's really the key when fighting hair loss. You can add minoxidil, but any gains will be dependent on continued use. I started minox and I know I am pretty much stuck using it for the rest of my life if I want to keep my hair. If I were you, I would wait until you are 1.5 years on finasteride before changing up your regimen. Hang in there dude.
