Missed 4 weeks of minox and shedding. Will it stabilize again?

So I ****ed up big time! Been on rogaine for 4 months and I have been experiencing great progress, but due to a 4 week vacation I haven't been applying it for 4 weeks. I started again yesterday and to my big horror I'm shedding like crazy but only during applications.

Anyone tried taking a long break and then started applying again? Will it stabilize or get back to normal (had almost no shedding prior to this break) How long will it take??

The problem is that its never guaranteed; just because it worked for one guy doesnt mean it will work for someone else.

But, let me put it this way; I was using 2% minox for a long time and shed a lot, lost density for like a year before things came back to norm. After that, I switched to 5% minox, shed incredibly again for about 4-5 months and things came back to norm again.
