Who's the best doctor closest to Dallas for Hairline Restoration?
Had FUT 7 months ago, my hairline is all screwed up. I don't trust my doctor to fix it... any recommendations??

From the image it appears you're female correct? Were you suffering from hair loss or where you just hoping to lower your hairline? Did your surgeon specialize in hair transplant surgery only or does he do other cosmetic surgery?

female and born that way... FUT patient 10/7/16. 2587 grafts... I just wanted to fill in my thinning hair and maintain my widow's peak.. not look like one of the Munsters. I don't trust my doctor to fix this when I'm at my 12 month mark.

I would have to agree with you concerning not allowing the surgeon who performed your last surgery to attempt to repair you. You should consider requesting a refund to pay for your repair surgery. I am curious, if your surgeon is actually a hair transplant specialist or if he/she does other types of cosmetic surgery? From the looks of things I think you can be repaired, but you really have to do your research. Have you had a consultation with Dr. Arocha? He's in Texas and has a really good reputation.

I used Dr. Joseph Yaker (Texashairaesthetics.com). He had female referrals and before/after pics. He's supposedly a hairtransplant specialist. I met with a couple of doctors before picking him. I'm very disappointed. I was going to talk to him about refund since I don't forsee it getting better.

I'm very sorry that you have to deal with this, but there is a good chance that a qualified hair transplant surgeon can improve your situation. There are a few doctors in Texas in the IAHRS, iahrs.org. You should also consider other well known surgeons in different states since repair surgery is a real specialty. IAHRS surgeons are considered the most elite hair transplant surgeons in the world so you can at least have some consultations to see what they think of your situation. Can you post pictures of how your hair looks styled? I would suggest that you really take your time before you rush into your next surgery. Speak to as many doctors as possible and try to meet patients in person before you choose your next doctor. Good luck!

Hi JoyJoy. I responded to your thread on another forum and just wanted to add here that after seeing the above photo of your hair styled, it doesn't look nearly as bad as it does when it's pulled back. All my advice from before still stands and I think getting it done properly is worth pursuing, but for your own peace of mind, I just wanted to let you know that in the meantime it doesn't appear to be extremely noticeable when you style it like that. :)

Yikes. That sucks. Wishing you wind-free days from here on out until you get this resolved.
