Is 1mg (2 pills) of dutasteride daily too much?
I've been taking 0.5mg (1 pill) of dut for 7 months now, I'm thinking of increasing dosage to 1mg (2 pills) a day. Is it too much? Can our body live with this dosage for a long time?

Also, one thing I'm concerned about increasing dosage would mess up the testosterone to estrogen ratio, that certainly would contribute shedding.

I'm pretty sure I've seen studies where it's been used at 2.5 mg per day, so it's not going to kill you. But it might give you more side effects.

The 2.5mg you see is only during experiment stage, it's a research dosage, only 0.5mg is available on the market. What I'm concerned is my liver, and hair. I'm afraid my live can't take much and thus won't metabolize the drug at this dosage, and the testosterone to estrogen ratio is messed up, thus a big shed. But, I'm afraid 0.5mg is too weak.

I wonder if anyone is taking 1mg of dut for a long time.
