3,559 grafts by Dr. Jerry Cooley

This 30 year old man has extensive baldness and was started on finasteride and minoxidil. A follicular unit transplant was performed in such a way as to provide maximum improvement while taking into consideration the possibility of future hair loss. 3,559 grafts were done, including: 1076 (1-hair), 1843 (2-hair), 623 (3-hair), 15 (4-hair) = 6,691 hairs. Only very light coverage was given to the crown. Results are one year post op.

We did not use ACell on this patient. We are now using ACell on almost all patients. They are given the option, and if they choose this, only pay for the ACell itself ($500). Only a few patients choose not to do this.

Great conservative results entirely changing his appearance!
