Is it okay to use Finasteride at 18 years old
As the title says, can I use Finasteride at 18? I have been losing my hair since I was 12 or nearly 13. Presently my hairline is like the guy in the following video:

(Skip to 3:20) the middle patch is occurring and it's almost the same.

Is it safe or okay to use ? Anyone used it at this age before?

I think it's not recommended for anyone under 18 buddy so in theory you're okay to use it.

I would say though that if you started losing it at 12 that you probably have pretty aggressive hairloss, I'd consult a doctor before starting any treatment and get their medical opinion. It's a serious drug and you need to have a professional take you through all the risks and potential benefits.

Hello. How are you? Thank you for taking the time to reply here.

Yes I have been losing hair since I was 12 or about to turn 13 as I said. Regarding consulting a doctor, I've been to a few. First one was in 2015 to a homeopath. He gave me R89, and some oils and said these are proven to work, or so. Tried it. Didn't work. Then, in 2017 I went to a dermatologist in a city. He recommended mesotherapy (steriod injections in head) and gave me some oils and vitamin tablets. I tried those for a while but had no luck. Absolutely 0%.

At this point, I am not sure who to trust, as the most dermatologists are in it for the money rather than actually curing you. That's why I am afraid to go back to him, as he might (possibly) just trying to get as much money off as possible. He didn't even mention meds like Finasteride or Minoxidl. It's only a few weeks ago I found a comment, where I guy recommended me this.

Well, if you were in my shoes, would you use it?

At the age of 18 it is not advised to take Finasteride or any other hair loss medicine without first contacting a doctor. A prescription drug called finasteride prevents the hormone DHT, which causes hair loss, from being produced pou. It is often recommended for men who have been diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia and are older than 18 years old.
