Could use some input on long-term hair transplant strategy
23 years old, at Norwood 2, approaching 2A. I have a giant forehead and can't pull off baldness at all. If I had hairline lowering surgery to reduce the transplant area and got hair transplants once every few years, could I end up keeping a somewhat thick head of hair without ever using finasteride? I'd be okay with thinnish hair at the crown, but I want an extremely forward, somewhat thick hairline.

I'm not optimistic that this is actually possible, but I figured I should ask. I'll get on fin if I have to, but if I can get good results just getting a transplant every few years I'd rather not mess with my hormones. Also, a transplanted hairline wouldn't be at risk of re-receding to reveal a hairline lowering scar, right? The hairs from the back and sides are DHT-resistant, right?
