    Second transplant w/ Dr. Epstein
Just had my 4th HT. The first 2 were from a "chain" in Florida, and the last 2 were from Dr. Epstein. After seeing Dr. Epstein's website with the "closeup" pics I emailed him my pics a few years ago and I went for it. It went very well, nobody could tell I had it done, even I couldn't tell which hairs were from the transplant. I was very impressed with him - he's honest, caring, compassionate and sharp but most importantly he has that artistic skill and the eye for detail that only a few talented artists have. You can tell how passionate he is about his work. I am not exaggerating if I were to compare him to other artists such as Michelangelo or Leonardo da Vinci. If you look at his website, you can see all the close up pictures and if you notice there is no "bump" or base scarring where the transplanted hair grows, whereas other websites the pics are taken farther away so you don't really see the base scarring, but trust me there is because I have it from my first two HT from the "chain" clinic. My only regret is not going to him in the first place, if this guy moved to Alaska I would have gone there to get my transplant. So for my 4th HT it was smooth sailing, I went to Miami, ate some stone crabs, stayed at the hotel which has a shuttle to and from Dr. E's office. Went to get my hair washed the next day and now I am home. I decided to get the regular sutures because I want to go back to Miami again. I had the regular FUG of about 1900 grafts with the HITS closure. I probably won't need another one, maybe a touch up. Dr. E, if you are reading this Thank You so much!

Do you have any pictures to share. It’s always good to see the hairlines of happy hair transplant patients:) It’s inspiring for all of us here on the forum.

It's kind of hard to tell what's going on from that picture, but the transplanted area looks healed. Do you have any better pictures? Happy growing!

I cut my hair a bit shorter, but I can't seem to get a higher res pic uploaded. This is the best I could do.

I am sending them. Keep in mind, I specifically asked Dr. E to build up my existing line and to have a feathered and receded look. When I was 18, my hair line was lower and solid, now that I am in my 30s it has receded. I don't think it would look good if I were to have a solid line like I was 18 on my face now. The general public already have an impression that if someone had a transplant, their hairline would be lowered. This way hopefully if someone looks at my hair, they would think, Nah he didn't have one, it looks receded and diffuse, like he's losing his hair, but managed to hang onto a lot.

Would be MUCH better to take some pictures from further away, and just edit the face out.

But good progress man. Looks great.
