anyone using the microneedle device on the scalp to enhance minox penetration ?
It occurs to me that I have a detailed process of pre-application before minoxidil and not just the warm washcloth to open the pores of the scalp. But I also crush generic aspirin tablets in warm water to apply an aspirin mask to increase minoxidil absorption. And now my intention with receiving Dutasteride is to augment my topical process with the roller microneedle for the scalp which does not cut the scalp but makes fine incisions to allow the Minox deep into the follicle. Has anyone used this and have you received improved results ?

I just started using a .5mm roller yesterday for RU absorption. while i cant say it works, because its only been one day, The theory behind it is pretty solid. The thing is that unless you use like a .2mm roller, you cant use it everyday, and it will trash your scalp. So im going to use my every 3 or so days. I know there was a guy on youtube who backs it, and he uses a 1.5mm every night.

I bought the dermaroller 1.5mm and have used it 3-4 times a week for about 3weeks now. Have only been treating my hairloss for a little over a month so I don't really have any results to report.

Using the dermaroller does hurt and will sometimes draw small amounts of blood, but not much. Other than that my scalp usually recovers within a short amount of time to use on back to back days. I got mine cheap on amazon for around $30, so it is definitely worth a try.

I use it once a day in the morning before work. Now the key thing is I was told is that you are not supposed to press it down on your scalp so as to draw blood. You roll it lightly across the scalp back to front and front to back and the diagonally in an x formation after that you apply your topical RU or Minox and in theory the micro incision made in the scalp help the RU and Minox to get under thick dermal layer and sebum to be more effective overall. I have only used for a week or so and I must say the circulation in my scalp has increased with the combination of both products. I currently have the 1.5mm model of the dermaroller.

Dermaroller + minox should be a great idea in theory - the disruption pushes follicles into anagen, and you add minox....

If I had a high tolerance for pain, I'd try it...o well, I'll just wait for Follica.
