    New Country, New Piece
    Hi there,

I recently moved to the US from South Asia, where I was at a Hair Club, which was MUUUUCH cheaper than the one here in America. (YAY third world!) But now that I'm here as a poor grad student, I totally can't afford to be a member of Hair Club or a specific salon type of deal because they are ridiculously pricey. I know that some people buy hair units online and are able to maintain them themselves at home. Here are my questions for those people, any help/advice is appreciated:

    1. Which websites do you recommend buying units from? I've heard great things about toplace.com.
    2. How difficult is it to place the piece back on? I've seen YouTube tutorials and it looks fairly straightforward.
    3. How does one trim or cut their own hair? Can one go to a local hairdresser and get a trim for the sides? How do people deal with this step?
    4. How many units do you go through in a year? I'm currently at one every 9 months.

Any other advice, suggestions would be very helpful. I live in Washington, DC, should that be helpful.

    Thank you!
