    TricoScience Fact Sheet
TrichoScience is developing a non-surgical hair restoration procedure based on the clinical replication of hair root cells and their re-introduction into areas of hair loss.

The patent-pending, in-clinic procedure will allow a patient to obtain an unlimited amount of hair reproduced from their own hair cells.

    Thanks for the info.
Is there anything about a possible timeline? And did they start or have they already performed human clinical trials yet?

The mere fact that they already have a pricing system set up seems to suggest that they are closer to a commercially viable product than the info they are offering.

    Hello everyone,

I emailed TrichoScience just a few days ago to ask where about they were in their research and when would it be ready. This was the answer:

    Thanks for contacting us.

We're in as big a hurry as you! We have begun our Stage I human clinical trials, but we will likely have no results to report until the 4th quarter of this year. Any commercial availability is completely dependent on the results of subsequent Stage 2 and Stage 3 trials. How long this will take is anybody's guess, but it would not be completed in 2012.

Wish we could give you a more optimistic (and speedy) schedule, but the trials process is long and detailed--and for good reason. Safety is first and foremost, then comes the fine tuning of efficacy (assuming the process works at a commercial level).

    Regards,

    TrichoScience Innovations Inc.

Actually this is the most honest answer I ever heard of an upcoming treatment for hair loss. They still don't know a lot, and they are clinical trials started. The future will tell, I'll keep my eyes on them... :)

Mediocre results after a few months I believe. Around 15% growth on the best patient and some even lost hair.
Still it's not all lost they just need to adjust the product a bit, it's a little bit behind right now.
