Just noticed a lot of random dandruff

I use Nizoral 2% twice per week (mondays and thursdays) and just now I brushed my hair and noticed dandruff everywhere! I dont understand as i havent noticed it since i started using nizoral in the summer...what is going on?

Is it possible that I brushed my hair too hard or something? One thing i changed up was using nizoral in mornings then conditioning my hair at night before bed but the last few times I used nizoral I washed it at night then conditioned my hair directly after. Could this have made it less effective?

Also if it matters I have two hair brushes, one has sharp edges (which i just used and noticed the dandruff) and one regular brush that is less intense and has the little balls attached on the end of em..

Nizoral is supposed to stop dandruff so that makes no sense.

Do you use Kirkland's minoxidil or any other liquid minoxidil? Because if you do, it just might be residue.

I dont use minoxidil.. I am starting to think i brushed my hair too strongly with the brush that has sharp ends and it dug into my scalp which caused it maybe?

Either that or I shouldnt condition my hair right after nizoral use and wait till before bed to condition it...
