I had enormous amounts of hair on my pillow after about 4 weeks on fin. I'd never been a "shedder" during my days suffering from MPB, so it was quite a shock.
The most noticeable difference has been the amount of hair I've lost on top since starting fin, in terms of visible hair versus visible scalp.

Iv'e been taking it for 2 weeks.
I have a grade 1 haircut so I do not notice hairs on pillows or hair coming out in the shower as my hair is so short. I have not noticed my hair disappearing any quicker on my head by looking in the mirror either, still looks the same as it did 2 weeks ago.
I guess shedding happens over time, its not like you just shed all the thin hairs in a week or so, I guess it happens over months and gradually grows back thicker hairs one by one. (if it works).

I am approaching the completion of my 4th month on propecia. I have shed ever since the first wk on being on the medication and the shedding has continued. i too am curious of the time frame in which it will stop!

My shedding stopped completely on the 5th month.

A month gone. No side effects and no difference to hair. Nothing has changed. Still the same as before. Early days.
