Has any (male) had or have actual telogen effluvium?

I know sometimes there is an episode of TE before the onset of MPB but has anybody had TE that was not the opening salvo of MPB but something triggered by surgery, diet, thyroid problems, low protein, etc?

So few men get it and I don't think they usually post on hair loss forums.

If anybody had or has it love to know what your trigger was (if you found out)? How much density did you lose? Did you recover any or all the density? How long did it take?
