Does anyone here actually prefer the bald look?
I used to have long hair as a kid, but I started losing it around 16... People didn't notice I was balding until I shaved my head at 18, when I joined the army... After an awkward balding phase between 21 to 23 (I served for 3 years), I started shaving my head and grew a beard, and to be honest... I like it better than having hair! I even get more female attention since I've done it!

Here's how I used to look with long hair, when I was 16:

    Here's how I look now, at 24:

    So much better!

...So, anyone sharing my opinion, regarding themselves?

And in regards to your question yes, back when I was a teen with a head full of hair, I had really awful hair which I was very conscious about, not to mention that it made look like a f***** and a school shooter. Now that I buzz it all off and maintain a beard I look SO much better; cleaner, manlier, more confident.. and the chicks respond accordingly. https://www.baldtruthtalk.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I definitely think the buzzed look is something more guys should consider. It's easy for us to get fixated on restoring our hair when we start to lose it, but I think many guys would be just as confident if they accepted their MPB and got used to a buzz cut. It may not be for everyone, but it's definitely something that should get more consideration than it does.

Even though I had a HT, I have buzzed my head a few times in my life and always loved it - and it's definitely easier to style, that's for damn sure.

"Damm bro no homo"? What's up with that? A man can't give a man a compliment without declaring their heterosexuality?

Unless they enjoy having less sex, and having it with women two decades older and on lower salaries while simultaneously looking two decades older themselves and far uglier to 99% of the population, then no, they won't.

NO ONE is benefitng from a shaved head. Notice the only guys who look good with a shaved head are ones without any baldness, so the tiny stubble still frames their face.

    "Lots of people do"

Why don't you post a photo of your shiny bald head up for all to see seeing as it is apparently so attractive? Do women just love the "manliness" of your slick bald head?

I actually did. And yeah, they do ;) More than when I had hair, actually. This is one of the reasons I started this thread.

    Edit:

Oh, and my salary is actually higher than the average for my age and status (student), just to counter your statement further.

Don't mind JLB , he needs help and not from a HT surgeon .
He thinks all his problems will be solved once he gets a HT in Turkey

No one wants to look bald because baldness gives negativity and invite many other problems in life, career, profession and personal life. So, its better to have hairs on scalp with cool style and outlook.

If like to say tht even I would prefer myself with hair any day I wouldnt be so desperate and say it causes personal problems. My uncles are bald and honestly they still look amazing with sides and little hair on the top. I am 15 and hairline has gone back and thinned and I worry a lot about it and want to have it fixed. I have shaved my head off before and honestly it wasn't tht bad considering my big forehead large nose and small height (5 foot 5) at 15 years. Worse comes to worse I'll get a hair transplant or accept it. I just wan to say tht hair is important and makes people self conscious but not something to destroy ur life over. You should try to improve your other qualitie and features like personality. And if people don't like u for who u are u don't need them either ur better off.
