    26/f hair loss.. again
I am a 26/F My hair loss started in June 2011. I first noticed hair coming out more than normal in the shower, and in the hair brush. I went to the dr and they ran a bunch of different tests, CBC, IRON, VITAMIN D, TESOSTERONE, THYROID, all came out normal. My ferritin level was a little low, 21.. but it was 21 a few years ago as well and i didnt have hair loss. I am going in on Wednesday for a punch test on my scalp. I have shedding throughout my entire scalp, but on my neck i have lost a lot more hair. So i had the results back from my punch biopsy and the dermatologist said it is telogen effluvium caused most likely by a low ferritin level. As of 3/2012 my ferritin level is now at 72. I am still losing hair horribly, and am wondering what is really going on?! im not sure what to do... all of my blood work has come back normal. a few years ago i did lose weight quickly, i did nutrisystem i lost 40 lbs in 16 weeks. I also drink more than 2 alcohol drinks 3x a week. I let my dr know this and she said i have several "factors" going on and should get a second opinion from my dermatologist. Im wondering what everyone thinks about this and if anyone has experienced something similar? i do not believe this has anything to do with my ferritin level as i have brought this up. also i eat spinach at least 1x a day, eat leafy greens and take 2 iron pills a day.

Vow this thread is so stupid. Most of the time, hair loss is hereditary. Has got nothing to do with eating spinach or whatever.

I would like to share an experience of my own. Last year i went to turkey for hairtransplant to the clinic of Songül Alci in Medical Park Hospital.
Mrs. Alci and her team were so friendly that it was an incredible experience for me. The result was extremely satisfying.
They offered me a package with hotel accomodation, pickup service etc.
If you are planning hairtransplant. I highly recommend
