ASC-J9. Anyone heard of this?

"ASCJ is synthesized from a natural product and promotes the degradation of endogenous androgen receptors. This pharmacological mechanism differs completely from all currently available anti-androgens. In laboratory tests, topically applied testosterone induced inhibition of the hair cycle progression with prolongation of the telogen phase 50% of the time in the mouse model. Whereas anagen conversion was achieved in 100% of the mice given testosterone followed with ASCJ-9. The researchers concluded, “These preliminary observations suggest that ASCJ-9 is a potential candidate for effective and safe topical treatment of acne and male pattern baldness.”*


I was reading on another forum, a growing number of members is using it with positive results, they order it from China.

I'd love to give it a try but ordering from China is simply too unsettling. I'm a bit tied up at the moment. Any info on where it is in clinical trials? The language at the end makes it sound as if its at least 5 years out from commercialization, if at all...

Full commercialization isn't too important as long as it works and there's some manufacturer out there able to provide pure and affordable stuff, like with RU. If people are using it now and it does the job we'll find out a lot sooner than 5 years.

Mr z, can you post a link to the other forum thats discussing this and maybe give more insight as to where to purchase it from?

Ah yes I remember people talking about this like 5 years ago it started before CB I think. I think it got left at like phase 2B and just no one bought it to commercialize it. I think its still just in limbo waiting for someone to buy it and do something with it. CB is similar and is actively going through trials so maybe no one thought it was worth going after ascj 9

It's a 2011 post, don't see the point of bumping it gainspotter

Anyway, the thing was tried with no results, from what I understand the development has been halted too

I've read it was a mess to use, stained the skin really bad
