Beard hair as donor hair? Has technology moved forward recently?

I had a transplant about 5 years ago, it went well & I was very happy with result. 5 years on I’m now thinking about fixing some of the minor imperfections & just wondered if beard hair was an option as a donor site? I thin k I still have a little bit from the back & sides that could be taken BUT I was thinking perhaps using some beard hair would be beneficial, especially as beard hair seems to be thicker than scalp hair

Yes you can use beard hair as a donor site. It’s quite common these days and I’ve seen good results with it.
