    6 weeks off of propecia
    hey all,

I am now 6 weeks off of propecia after 2.5 years. When I freaked out about my impending hair loss I was in a state of mind that I would of done anything. As a result I main thing that I under-estimated by going on propecia was the fact that it is a life-time commitment (to keep the results).

this is what my sink looks like after my shower this morning and I am only 6 weeks off. I expect the next few months will be brutal.

Why did you discontinue taking Propecia? Sides?

originally it wasn't sides but rather concern over potential long-term negative effects. But then off the medication at about 3 weeks I noticed I generally felt better. I had morning erections (which I had lost) and felt more overall sexually energy. However, I never had any problems with the medication but I just didn't notice the subtle differences in how I felt...till I came off it.

still a very brutal process ahead. :(

you should consider gettin on my combo to see prevent those hairs from going dormant. Theres a chance they could still grow out despite being off of propecia.

Rather than getting off propecia you should just consider a smaller dose.

0.25mg or 0.5 mg, it should lessen the sides but still help maintain your hair.
