Does finasteride affect male fertility?

I'm considering starting finasteride treatment as I believe my crown is starting to thin. However, my girlfriend and I have just started trying to have a baby. Will finasteride negatively affect my chances at conception? Should I wait until she's pregnant to begin treatment?

No - I’m proof as was on it 10 years straight no break and conceived twins at very first attempt.

I question if it’s in fact a fertility enhancer ....!?!
