Am i going bald??? 20 Years Old (PHOTOS)
20 years old and under a lot of stress the past few months. I haven't noticed any hair in the shower or on my pillow or anything like that but I do notice some stuff.. (Photos)

Please give your opinion. What can I do to stop this? Or reverse it? IS it possible?

By the way. before taking these photos i cut my own hair really badly so i could see how bad it was - the light areas on my hairline are normally not so light and are full normally but i cut them pretty badly. Thanks for your opinion.

Here is my hairline before i cut my hair : https://www.baldtruthtalk.com/thread...ht=#post239769

    (Ill say this again)
Hi Nick187 and welcome to this great forum...
It could be that you are ONLY experiencing a maturing hairline especially since you are now 20 years old.
It is nothing to WORRY about.
Worry and STRESS WILL cause serious issues to your scalp and eventually to your health too.
    Keep this in mind,
because you are ONLY 20 years old, you do NOT yet have the proper FORESIGHT available to you.
Once you are in your mid to late 20s you WILL have that proper foresight,
the ability to predict the consequences your actions.
Don't take this as an insult...Im trying to help you out.
There are things that you can do to improve your hair.
    Have a good day!!

I apologize for appearing as a pathetic hypochondriac. I know stress is killing me and my health at the moment which is why i am making drastic lifestyle changes every day. Thank you for being blunt but honest too. you mentioned "Things I can do to improve my hair" - what are you referring to? Thanks again

    Oh HELLO Nick' !!
I just happened to see your response just now on my iPhone.
I went here to my computer to respond to you.
I am so glad to see that you are trying to fix your health by undoing your stress with a lifestyle change.
Also there is no need to apologize here. I can understand how your actions have been because, after all, you are only 20 years old right now.
(not an insult to you my friend)
Its great that you have been considering what I have had to say for you.
(I never make any assumptions here)
I really like to try to help, especially the young guys here!!
One of the first things that you can start taking right away is
the vitamin of the B complex, Biotin.

It is an over-the-counter vitamin med that has a very long history of helping
    men's hair and women's hair.

It does create improvements over time and not just for hair.
Do the research on Biotin. You will find out all the information on it.
(Ive been using Biotin for a long time)
You could also consider starting on the over-the-counter med' Minoxidil. Not saying that you really need to use Minoxidil right now. Maybe you can see a good doctor on this as well.

Im glad to hear back from you Nick....where do you live at my friend?
I live here in the United States, Illinois area.

Hi again, I typed a reply here but for some reason It did not send!

    Well I will retype it.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I currently take a "Maxi-B" (see linnk) But i will write down "biotin" and search for it the next time I am at the store.

I will definitely do research on Minoxidil , i also heard of Rogaine once, - what is your opinion on that?

I will speak to my doctor / dermatologist when I see him( i haven't seen him for over a year so i have lots of questions to ask, not only for my hair)

I currently live in South Africa, though I am definitely going to leave soon - hopefully to Europe, New Zealand or North America.
Thanks again for responding man. Everything is well received and appreciated!

    Hello again Nick!!
You are so welcomed. Yes, do the research on all of those topics.
I do not think that you need Rogaine (Finasteride) at this time.
Went I was your age,20 years old, my hairline had matured a bit more but
i did not yet have any serious hairloss (same as you).
I decided to be accepting of whatever it was. I did not what to be depressed and worried about anything.
I did not start on Finasteride(Rogaine) until 2013 when my hairloss was major.
Again, I do not think you need Rogaine at this time in your life.
Stay positive and start on Biotin. Take it every day like other vitamins .
Don't over focus on your hair because Biotin takes time to show improvements.
When I started on Minoxidil last year in November 2015, both, my wife and I, could see positive help happening after about 3 months of its use.
Back to you,,stay positive and dont allow yourself to become worried and stressed out.
    OK?? Cheers!!

(I think you should move to America-lol)
