    Here is a patient of mine who wanted a very thick mustache. Think Tom Selleck circa Magnum PI days ;)

    I personally extracted just over 700 grafts with a 0.75mm tip from the neck beard to transplant to the mustache. It is always best to use beard hair (from the neck) whenever possible when transplanting into the beard and mustache.

    The photos show the patient's mustache and donor area one week post procedure. You can see no visible scarring in the donor region. The mustache has shed some of the transplanted hairs but you can already see the significant increase in density post procedure.

    The patient is thrilled with his sneak peak at his transplanted mustache and looks forward to seeing the final results in 9-12 months.
