Youtube Hair Transplant Influencers - Who to Trust?
Over the past few years Youtube has become a breeding ground for people that want to sell anything and everything and in the hair transplant field, this has gone largely unchecked. David DiMuzio is one of the more visible Youtube creators that speaks about hair restoration surgery with his own "facts" and opinions. While it's worth nitpicking over the small things, he said something in a recent Youtube interview that is a bold faced lie, and I simply couldn't let it go unchallenged.

When watching Youtube videos, make sure you understand the context of how and why this information is being presented.

Another great video Joe, the only people I listen to are guys like you and Spencer Kobren, I take everything I hear on sites like youtube with a huge pinch of salt.

Although a lot of things have changed for the better in their hair loss industry because of the internet, it is still dealing with desperate (often young) men who, as a result of their frantic desire for a solution, are too credulous.

Thanks, Clee. The Youtubers giving hair restoration advice seem like nice guys in general and I like that they are sharing their experiences. That is what makes Youtube so powerful. Unfortunately a lot of the information they are giving out as advice however is not only incorrect but potentially quite dangerous. We hope to help get that fixed in time.

Thanks, Spex. It does take a lot of time, but much of that time is thinking of something to say:)

I think these youtubers should document their HT experience but that is where it should end. Giving medical advice, hairloss solutions which are not clinically proven (that includes hand stands!) should not be given from these people. They are in no position to be giving advice and should not portray themselves as experts of any level and we as hairloss sufferers must not take their advice unless it is backed up with educated reasoning and evidence. We should only judge their HT experience and use it as information gained and as a starting point to investigate those clinics further if interested.

What do you think about this hair transplant joe?

this is the exact pattern of hairloss (diffuse) and the exact curly texture of my hair (mine is more blonde though), my donor is thick like his too

Although Im aware that you can't look to someone elses HT to guage your own situation, if my hair gets this bad this gives me hope, I would want a HT like his.

but Honestly Ive seen a lot of this guys videos and his HTs seem to good to be true
What do you think? is this a typical amount of density for an almost 3,000 graft HT
