Dr. Lindsey 2000 graft plug and scar repair case McLean VA

This 30 year old is 6 years out from an unsatisfactory sparse, pluggy result from our area. Yesterday we trimmed his previously placed grafts, made slits as close as possible to them without damaging those roots(they’re growing and paid for…) and packed the area. Additionally he had a horrible scar that we revised with a 3 layer closure. (the middle picture in the scar sequence is with the deep layer in holding tension off of the skin edges before the skin sutures are placed) Hopefully we’ll all see a huge improvement next holiday season. He is thinning further back and has a strong history of familial hair loss so we may be back here again. He lives close by and seems to be willing to stop in for pics, plus he is computer savvy and may be willing to post his experience next week after sutures come out.
