Am i thinning/balding?

I used to have VERY thick curly hair and decided to take accutane at my current age of 21. Near my last month of accutane I began to notice hair loss in the shower and my family would tell me its normal. However I know my hair does not looks the same as before I took accutane. I have asked doctors and they say accutane only causes temporary hair loss but I have not stopped thinning. It sucks. My dad has a full head of hair at 48 yrs old, but my uncles on my moms side are balding. So I dont know if its mpb, or just thinning, but regardless my scalp looks alot more thin. My hairline is the same which is odd. It is my crown that looks the most thin, but isnt it rare to start receding at the crown? Any suggestion is appreciated

I wouldn’t say it’s rare to start at the crown. You don’t look like you’re in trouble to me, but there’s a chance you’re thinning out. Just get to a derm. I notice a lot of people who have taken accutane develop hairloss, but that’s anecdotal and I could be dead wrong. It could go either way on your crown.
