Dr. Dauer Patient- Beard FUE

Greetings,

Here is a patient of mine who wanted increased density in the beard and mustache regions. The donor follicles were extracted from the neck using a 0.8mm punch tip and were transplanted into the thinning central region of the beard and the upper and middle portions of the mustache. The results are shown after 6 months and the patient received approximately 650 grafts in total. Approximately 500 of the grafts were single hair grafts and 150 were 2 hair grafts. The donor region is also shown to demonstrate no visible scarring as well as the fact that the existing neck hair was not completely depleted in the harvest. The patient is already thrilled with his results but he should some some increased cosmetic density over the next 4-6 months.
