ARTAS Hair Transplant - It Takes A Skilled Team For Best Results
Spencer Kobren Speaks with IAHRS accepted member and Chicago robotic hair transplant pioneer, Dr. Gregory Turowski, about the importance of choosing the right surgeon when considering any type of hair transplant procedure.

While the ARTAS robot is an incredible breakthrough, the skill of the surgeon and team you choose is paramount in achieving the best results. So remember, at least at this stage, all ARTAS physicians are NOT created equal! Choose your surgeon wisely.

I think this is a very important discussion. Now that Spencer Kobren recognizes the ARTAS , this will generate a insane amount of interest in this technology, but I have a feeling that every Tom, Dick and Harry will now jump on this . This is obviously cutting edge technology, but I hope the company sees the danger of selling this robot to just anybody who wants to start doing hair transplants. Will there be some internal regulation?

I agree, I think this is an issue that needs to be talked about more. OK, we know that the doctors who post here are all the best of the best, but what about doctors that have no track record whatsoever? I know Spencer mentioned on his show that the robot will eventually make things mush safer, but even Dr. Turowski agrees that it’s not a perfect solution yet. Look at this thread https://www.baldtruthtalk.com/showth...r-Briggs-in-NC I think it’s a real eye opener for newbies.

Thank you for your comments. I do think ARTAS is just a tool but like any amazing tools it will do wonders in the hands of a skilled hand surgeon. I believe it is going to be a future of hair transplantation
