Dr. Lindsey 825 grafts to congenital hairless area on younger man
This mid 20s fellow and his mom came in for 2 problems. First, he has this silver-dollar or 2 sized bald area that he was born with on his left temple. There is no scarring alopecia nor pigmented component suggestive of pre-cancerous lesions. (Forum readers may recall that I did a similar, although smaller case on my son after he had a lesion removed, and posted his results a few months ago)

He also has a scar in his crown from surgery he had as a child...and its amenable to HT. BUT his family tends to bald in the crown...and I'm reluctant to waste a few hundred grafts in his crown now, which may end up being a few trees in a sea of skin as he ages.

So here is his left temple case. Shown are periop and 1 week pics. He lives pretty close and I hope he'll come for pictures as this grows in. Given the wavy hair he has, I'm expecting a nice result by the New Year.
