Video of Non-Shaven HRS & Return to Work: Carlos K. Wesley, MD (NYC)
Patients are not required to shave their head during a hair restoration surgery procedure. When operating slowly and carefully, navigating between pre-existing hairs at their natural length is achievable. This allows patients to more comfortably and discretely return to work and/or social activities within a week to 10 days after the procedure.

This video depicts a 28-year-old male who underwent a 2100-graft follicular unit transplantation (FUT) procedure with Carlos K. Wesley, MD in NYC. He can be seen before, during, and a few weeks and months after the procedure that was coupled with PRP treatment. All the while, his pre-existing hair is kept at its natural length.

To critically view this patient's transformation, a sliding feature can be used to compare the superimposed images from before his procedure and his early results only five (5) months later. Click on the image below to access this feature.
