Not sure if cowlick or bald spot( thinning crown)

Here the pics. My hair is wet and brushed down. Recently I have been having an itchy crown though that might be due to the fact that I have Dermatitis. So what do you think and where do I stand?

When you do experience hair loss (as virtually every man eventually does), expect that spot to grow larger. I have a spot like that which was pretty stable during college, but has begun to thin pretty rapidly as my hair loss accelerates in my late 20s. It's now a fairly pronounced area, though the nice thing is that the location (off-center) makes it seem less like "balding" than it would if it were right in the middle.
