New unit - Which side is the front?

Hello everyrone,

I'm posting this new topic to get some help, as I've just received my first hairpiece.

When I ordered it, I asked for a graduated hairline and I said I would brush my hair down.

I'm a little confused here because it looks like the side with the slightest density of my unit is brushed backward.
What do you think ?

The side at the bottom of the pic (where the bare lace is visible) is the front.

The side lace is unusual, but as said the bottom edge as per pic looks like the front. You will need to cut the lace away.
