    Nice
Is it normal for frontal hair to look like this? 24 (M)
Last month, I noticed that a few hairs seemed thinner on my front hairline than usual. I was told by a barber, gp, dermatologist and hair loss consultant I was fine, but this doesn't look normal to me. What do you all think? Am I overreacting? I want to catch this early so I can slow down the balding process. All my uncles on both sides are bald, but both my grandfathers kept their hair into old age. I'm meeting with the dermatologist again in two months.

Just know hair doesn't equal personality, don't let society tell you that hair is what makes you beautiful. Actually, that applies to anyone on here, not just the OP. I suffer from alopecia and when my hair first started falling out I viewed everything that was happening to me as a curse, but later understood that it was far from being a curse, it was a trait, an accessory, not something that defined me as a person. Besides, there are wigs, and if you have the means to invest in a high-quality one, I really advise you to do it! My favorite ones are lace front wigs because they are amazingly comfortable. They offer me such an ego boost, it's unreal.
