Finasteride losing effectiveness or late shed?

Hey all,

So I've been on finasteride for just over 2 years now. Last month I noticed my hair actually get a lot thicker over the span of a month. It was insane. However, in the past couple weeks I've been noticing shedding that is more than normal.

Before, I was shedding maybe a few hairs in the shower, but now it's significantly higher. Even when I apply castor oil I'm finding hairs everywhere. It's concerning but I'm trying to have faith.

I haven't noticed a shed before this because I was rocking a 0 guard buzz cut for just under 2 years.

I've read about some guys who had sheds this late and things turned out okay, but I'm still unsure.

Has anybody been through this? Just wondering if I should begin to panic.

1.25mg. Been cutting a 5mg tablet of proscar into 4 pieces.

Dont panic. I think it could be a seasonal shed. Everyone gets one and mine always starts in the summer time.

Oh okay. How long do these sheds usually last?

Update: Continuing to shed hairs. Been just under a month now. Wondering if I should just ride it out and hope for regrowth? Or should I hop on minoxidil?
