Marc Dauer, MD- 1562 Grafts FUE

Greetings,

Here is a patient of mine who received 1562 grafts via FUE to the frontal and mid scalp. I personally harvested the grafts with a motorized punch. The results are shown 10 months post procedure so the hair should thicken a little over the next few months. The patient is already thrilled at present.

It is important that prospective patients understand how to critically evaluate before and after photos. Before and after photos need to be taken whenever possible with the same lighting, same hair length, and same wet/dry situation. Changing any one of these variables between the "before' and "after" will greatly affect the reliability of deciphering any information from the photos. In my office I take all my photos in the same exact spot and before I have wet the hair or shaved, if needed for the procedure. I want my prospective patients to have realistic expectations about possible results and showing the before and after photos in this manner I believe helps this.
