    About shampooing
Hey, I'm curious as to everyone's take on shampooing as it regards to hair loss.

I would say that my hair started getting greasier, quicker, a few months ago. As a result of this, I began shampooing more frequently. I had been trying previously to wash my hair either once a day or every other day. Then I began shampooing once to twice a day.

Recently, probably as a response to my hair loss in the last month or two, I've begun shampooing somewhat compulsively, 2 to 3 times a day, and quite furiously at that. My hair looks nicer when it is clean, and it just generally feels better.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is problematic to shampoo this often. I recently read that while an average person will shed about 100 hairs a day, after shampooing the hair count can jump to 250 without being abnormal. I can't help but wonder, as my hair looks thinner(in what was a completely non problem area) than it did 1-2 weeks ago, am I ****ing myself up with all this shampooing?

Also I am curious if others on the board experience this problem of their hair becoming greasier, quicker than usual. I really detest looking anything buy clean, but I'm not fond of abusing my hair either, especially with it seeming rather vulnerable as of late.
